You hear from us at each decision point. Nothing proceeds without your knowledge and agreement.

Proper bench tools

Swiss-standard timing machines, ultrasonic cleaners, and period-appropriate mainsprings and oils.

Coverage on completed work

All servicing includes a coverage period on parts and labour, noted in your condition document.

Common Questions

What people usually ask

How do I know if my watch needs a service?

If a mechanical watch hasn't been opened in five or more years, old lubricants may have thickened or dried. You might notice inconsistent timekeeping, a reluctant winding feel, or the watch stopping unexpectedly. Bring it in and we'll assess it before recommending anything.

What is included in the mechanical service price?

The ฿4,100 service covers full disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, lubrication with appropriate oils, reassembly, and a multi-position timing check. You also receive a written condition note and a coverage period on the work. Parts that need replacement (worn mainsprings, broken jewels) are quoted separately.

How long does a full service take?

A standard mechanical service typically takes two to three weeks. Crystal and case refinishing runs around one week. Vintage restorations are staged over multiple sessions and can span six to twelve weeks depending on part availability and your approval timeline at each step.

Do you work on all watch brands?

We work on most Swiss and Japanese mechanical movements, including hand-wound pocket watches. Highly complex modern movements (co-axial escapements, proprietary spring-drive calibres) may require referring to an authorised service centre. We'll tell you honestly during the assessment if that's the case.

Can you source parts for vintage watches?

For the Vintage Restoration Program we work through several supplier networks to find period-appropriate components — mainsprings, crown and stem, crystals, and where possible original-era dials. We keep you informed of sourcing progress and costs before committing to any parts.

What happens if something unexpected is found during servicing?

We stop, photograph the finding, and contact you. No additional work or cost is incurred without your agreement. You can always choose to have the watch returned in its disassembled state with no charge beyond the assessment if you prefer not to proceed.
